Ciao! I'm Walter, a passionate and energetic tour guide with nearly ten years of experience sharing the wonders of Italy with travelers from all over the world. Originally from a charming town near Milan, I’ve spent much of my life traveling and working in many countries around the world . After years of exploring, I found my true calling in tourism and decided to settle down and turn my love for travel into a career. Now, as a licensed tour leader, I work with a few tour companies, guiding travelers mainly through Italy’s most beautiful regions. While I love discovering all of Italy, my heart is especially tied to the area where I grew up — the one I know and love best. I’m a firm believer in sustainable, responsible travel, so I always aim to take my groups off the beaten path to experience the authentic Italian lifestyle — complete with delicious food, fine wine, a slower pace, and plenty of laughter. When I’m not leading tours or enjoying time with my niece, you’ll probably find me on a long cycling adventure, as I’ve been an avid cyclist for years, traveling the world on two wheels. National Tour Leader licence n. 102 issued by Piedmont Region; ETOA Tour Guide ID TG190065; Cycling tour guide certification issued by "Cycling UK".

Bologna is a hidden gem that often gets overshadowed by its more renowned Italian counterparts. But let me tell you, this city is worth every traveller's attention. The city has everything: is the gastronomic capital of Italy, has the oldest university in the world, has a giant, controversial church and the tallest leaning tower in Italy - and much more! We will travel on high speed train; we will then take a walking tour that will touch all the most famous sites - and some more! You will walk the famous porticos, hidden canals, visit the church of San Petronio, admire the square with statues and a leaning towers, have an authentic italian lunch and we'll be back to Milan late afternoon. Everything will be planned ahead, every detail will be taken care of. *** For trips between April 1st and September 15th, with the exception of August, please reach out to me before purchasing the trip, as the train tickets could be more expensive and the tour price might need to be adjusted accordingly ***
