Milan's Highlights - Express Walking Tour

Let's embark on a journey through history, art & culture as we traverse the heart of this vibrant city. I have a Master's in Management of Arts & Heritage so I'll be glad to guide you through them. We'll be sure to visit the Duomo, Milan's magnificent Gothic cathedral, where you'll marvel at its intricate facade adorned with spires, statues & exquisite marble details. We'll also step inside to witness the grandeur of its interior and get up to the top terrace to enjoy the view. For shopping enthusiasts, know that we'll step into luxury & elegance strolling through the Galleria, one of the world's oldest shopping malls, admiring the stunning glass dome overhead and soaking in the opulent atmosphere of this historic landmark. We'll also get to experience Milan's cultural heartbeat at Teatro alla Scala, one of the world's most renowned opera houses, and explore the impressive courtyard of Castello Sforzesco, a majestic fortress steeped in history, adorned with sculptures and surrounded by imposing walls.

• Our tour will start by gathering in the Duomo, appreciating its facade and exploring it from the inside as well. • We'll then proceed to make a visit to its rooftop. • We'll continue towards the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the oldest shopping centres in the world, where you'll be able to buy whatever you'd like from a plethora of options, from delicacies to designer products. • Afterwards, we'll reach La Scala, a globally recognized theatre and opera house, marvelling at its splendorous outsides. • Next, we'll go across Via Dante until we reach our last stop. • Our tour will end at Sforza Castle's courtyard, where I'll share details about its storied past and its significance in Milanese history with you. Weather: I run tours rain or shine, and most of my itineraries take place entirely or partially outside. Water, sunscreen and a hat are recommended in summer, as are warm layers in winter. Comfortable shoes are always advised.
