Ciao, I’m Caterina — a licensed tour guide based in Milan with nearly a decade of experience helping visitors explore one of Italy’s most dynamic and culturally rich cities. I’ve been leading tours since 2015, initially focused on food and shopping experiences as a tour leader. In recent years, I pursued official certification and am now a licensed European Tour Guide, validated by the Italian government. This allows me to offer in-depth, fully guided visits to sites such as the Duomo — and to share more detailed historical and cultural context. My goal is to offer more than just sightseeing — I aim to provide meaningful experiences that reflect the real character of Milan. Whether you're a first-time visitor or returning to discover more, my tours are designed to offer an authentic perspective, rooted in local knowledge and attention to detail. I love my job because I love to travel, and I always strive to make sure my guests return home with wonderful memories of my city and the experiences they’ve enjoyed.

Uncover the soul of Milan in just 3 unforgettable hours! This walking tour offers the perfect blend of history, art, and local charm. We’ll start at the majestic Sforza Castle, where Leonardo da Vinci once lived, and walk through centuries of Milanese history: from Roman walls to Renaissance courts. You’ll see how the city transforms around you, from ancient fortresses to elegant 19th-century shopping galleries. Walk beneath the glass dome of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, admire luxury boutiques, and learn where Prada began its story. We’ll end in Brera, Milan’s most artistic and beloved neighborhood, home to a world-famous art gallery, a hidden botanical garden, and streets full of timeless beauty. If you’re short on time but want to connect deeply with Milan’s culture, this tour is the perfect way to do it, step by step.
It was an amazing food and walking tour in Milan. We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and truly enjoyed the experience!
Caterina was energetic, funny, opinionated and dramatic. We loved her. We will definitely look her up when we’re back again.
The tour with Caterina was very enjoyable! Caterina showed us nice highlights of the city. Also pinpointed nice restaurants for dinner and helped to make reservations. Thank you!
My tour by Caterina was fantastic. She was flexible and able to condense the "Milan in 3 hours" to "Milan in 2 hours" to fit my extremely tight timeline. She hit all the high points and I really felt like I got to see the best of Milan even in that short time and that was all down to her abilities as a guide. If you want a friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable and truly local guide, book Caterina on your next trip to Milan. I felt like I was being shown around by a friend, what a fun day! 10/10 would recommend.
What a great surprise! As we would be departing from Milan to end a Switzerland/Lake Como trip we decided to add a few days in Milan without much in the way of knowledge or expectations. I’m so glad we added a city tour with Caterina to our itinerary. She’s full of knowledge and passion for sharing the rich sights and history of Milan. The late afternoon tour went beyond just the sights and facts as she really conveyed the spirit of Milan. I only wished we had had time to also book one of her food tours (though we did appreciate the gelato and restaurant recommendations).
Our guide Katarina was incredible! She displayed amazing knowledge on many fronts, including history, architecture, culture, and prominent Milanese people past and present, all delivered in a totally fun and energetic way. We covered a lot of ground in the three hours, due in large part to her preparedness and efficiency. The highlight was an external tour of the Duomo, during which Katarina pointed out numerous interesting and often mind-blowing facts. It's amazing how human beings could have created such an edifice. No wonder it took six centuries (yes, we learned that from Katarina!). We like to use private tour guides when we travel to Europe, and we have been happy with all of them. But Katarina was by far the best. With her, it wasn't just a tour, it was a delightful experience (and a very good value), one that we will always cherish. We can't recommend her highly enough!
- We’ll explore the iconic Sforza Castle: Milan’s most important museum, where Leonardo da Vinci once lived as a guest of the city’s Renaissance rulers. - From there, we’ll move from Milan’s second city wall to its first, where Roman walls once protected the heart of the city and the great Duomo was beginning to rise. - Along the way, we’ll stop in Piazza Mercanti, a beautifully preserved medieval square, and admire the exterior of the world-famous La Scala opera house. - You’ll see how Milan’s architecture changes dramatically within just a few steps. - We’ll stroll through the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, lined with luxury boutiques, including the first Prada store, opened in 1913. - Our tour ends in Brera, a charming, local residential district. Here, we’ll visit one of Milan’s most historic universities, home to the famous Brera Art Gallery and a peaceful botanical garden hidden behind its buildings.
