Hello! I am Paola, a licensed and officially authorized tour guide in Milan, born and raised in the city. With a strong background in history and art, I design private cultural and culinary tours for travelers who value knowledge, authenticity, and thoughtful experiences. My tours reveal Milan’s layered identity: a modern, dynamic city with a refined and discreet historical core. I guide guests through historic streets and alleys, churches and basilicas, art galleries, canals, and lesser-known corners, combining solid historical context with local insight and carefully chosen anecdotes. Particular attention is given to the Renaissance period and to Leonardo da Vinci, who considered Milan a central place for his life and work. Alongside cultural itineraries, I also offer private food tours, where cuisine becomes a way to understand tradition, lifestyle, and daily life. My experiences are designed for culturally curious, well-traveled international guests seeking depth rather than spectacle. Please note that I can easily arrange transportation for every tour, if you need and it's not yet included. I am a licensed tour leader since 1995. I am a licensed tourist guide since 2010. I studied languages, arts and history. I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Enjoy a private half-day walking tour of Milan created for travelers who want to experience the city deeply, not just admire its monuments. You will walk through the historic heart of Milan and discover a place shaped by centuries of ambition, faith, beauty, and refined taste. The emotional highlight of the tour is the Duomo of Milan, visited with priority entrance. Inside, light flows through extraordinary stained-glass windows, revealing sculptures and masterpieces created over centuries of devotion. The experience reaches its peak on the rooftop terraces, where you walk among marble spires and statues while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views over the city, one of the most unforgettable moments in Milan. Continue through the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a masterpiece of iron and glass. Learn about the legendary La Scala Opera House, where music, history, and passion meet. You'll see Sforza Castle, whose walls, towers, and courtyards evoke Renaissance splendor.
- La Scala Opera House square - Duomo, the catheadral (top roof terrace and inside) - Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II - Courtyards of Sforza's Castle The itinerary order may vary depending on opening hours and operational requirements. The tour includes the entrance ticket to the Duomo; all other entrance fees are not included and can be added upon request. Please note: access to the Duomo rooftop terraces is not recommended for: guests with walking difficulties, as stairs and uneven surfaces are present even when using the elevator; guests who suffer from vertigo. If you prefer to visit only the interior of the Duomo, a dedicated tour focusing exclusively on the inside is available. As the Duomo is an active religious site, appropriate attire is required (no sleeveless tops or shorts). For safety reasons, in case of adverse weather conditions, access to the rooftop terraces may be restricted or closed. This decision is made by the site authorities and is beyond my control.
