Overview of your Milan tour
On this tour, you'll have the opportunity to see Milan from the Duomo's terraces. From this beautiful cathedral, truly the symbol of the city, we'll be able to overlook everything from the Navigli area in the south, to the new skyscrapers of Milan in the CityLife and Porta Nuova districts. We'll actually get to drive across Porta Nuova, easily reachable by car, to see its new skyscrapers such as the Bosco Verticale and the Unicredit Tower. These buildings will be a stark contrast to landmarks we'll see that still remain from the Roman era. But besides driving, we'll enjoy walking in the Brera district, which will make it ideal to stop by some of its characteristic places, such as the Sforza Caste. I'll be sure to let you know about its history as we admire its stunning facade. We'll also explore Milan's old area which in recent years has become increasingly popular due to the numerous clubs that opened in it. The tour can be customized according to your needs & requests.
Your Milan tour itinerary
-After picking you up, we'll head to the Duomo. -After walking along its naves, we'll step into its lift to reach its terraces for a beautiful panoramic view of Milan. -We'll then walk along the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. -Next, we'll reach Piazza della Scalla where several incredible landmarks are located, including the eponymous Opera House & 16th century Palazzo Marino. -From here, we'll drive to the Porta Nuova district. -After sightseeing the area, we'll venture into the Brera district. -Once we've seen the Castello Sforzesco, we'll continue exploring going towards the remains of the city of Mediolanum. -We'll finally drive south to reach the area of old Milan & its canals, concluding the tour sipping an aperitif along the Darsena lake. Note that in museums, archaeological sites & generally in all churches, the dress code for men & women requires covered shoulders & knees. Shorts & skirts below the knees are allowed. Do not bring large items.
