We begin on the spectacular upper rooftop terraces, arranged on two levels, where you will walk among spires and pinnacles and admire more than 3,600 statues, each individually carved, while enjoying exceptional panoramic views over the city. Inside the cathedral, you will explore the vast interiors and focus on its greatest treasures: the monumental Gothic stained-glass windows, many of them original masterpieces from the 14th century. The experience concludes in the archaeological area, unveiling the ancient foundations of Milan, including the early Christian baptistery. A refined, in-depth visit ideal for high-end cultural travelers.
Your Milan tour itinerary
- top roof terrace of the Duomo - inside of the Duomo - archeological area of the Duomo Dress code required (no sleeveless shirts or shorts, skirts and trousers must be long until the knees). The visit to the top roof terrace is not fit for people with walking difficulties and/or suffering of vertigo. Although there is an elevator, there are anyway stairs and obstacle. Please note, in case of bad weather conditions for security reasons, the access to the top roof terrace might be limited or closed. This is out of my will and control.
