The Last Supper is one of the reasons to add Milan to your bucket list. In 2019 the entire world celebrated the 500th Death Anniversary of the Renaissance Master, Leonardo Da Vinci, who lived in Milan for many years and worked in the service of Ludovico il Moro Sforza. During the tour, we will explore different aspects of the art of Leonardo and of his students, such as various drawing techniques introduced by the artist in Milan, and his engineering, architectural and scientific studies. We will also see the famous cartoon by Raphael "The School of Athens", kept at the Ambrosiana Art Gallery together with the so-called "Codex Atlanticus", a compendium of Da Vinci's notes on his studies. -The tour starts at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana. It takes 1hrs 30 mins. -After a 15 mins walk we get the Church of Saint Maurizio, a small but breathtaking church. -Next is the Last Supper.
