After 25+ years spent with independent, curious travelers I know how to connect deeply and quickly. So let me be your sister in town! I can't wait of taking you to my favorite spots for seeing, eating, drinking and delving into the city soul. I was born and raised in Verona, an adorable, romantic, cozy Italian city and I have seen it changing over time under my eyes! Roman Archaeology is my background and I am listed in the prestigious Rick Steves Italy guidebook. I'm excited about helping you understand a little more of my beloved city: its art, history, landscape and the mood of the Italian "provincia". I am happy to tailor unique experiences for my travelers: if you are happy, I am happy! On my private tours, "connect" and "share" are my verbs: I couldn't live without connecting with my travelers and sharing ideas and experiences with them. For me being a tour guide is a way of travelling every day without moving from home! I get emotional when I taste classy wines and I am a Level 1 sommelier. I love good architecture, good music, good wines, I read many memoirs. I'm a mother of 3 globe-trotters. -Since 2003: Listed on Rick Steves Italy guidebook. -Master degree in Roman Archaeology. -Level 1 wine Sommelier. -Certified interpretive guide at NAI- National Association for Interpretation (Fort Collins, CO) -Since 2000: Board Licensed Tour Guide in UNESCO Verona and its province -Master course in Museology and Museography. Here are my tours (feel free of asking if you have special requests): - My CITY TOURS where I show you around as a proud native - My very easy and enjoyable LAKE GARDA tour, that I can customize to your needs - My BOUTIQUE WINE TOUR, where you learn about the 3 special things that make the Amarone a great wine - I can easily arrange COMBO TOURS: city+lake or city+wine or even city+lake+wine! - I can also accomodate FAMILIES on my family tour with kids aged 4 to 12 - SHAKESPEARE fans will rejoice on my Romeo and Juliet tour, where I discuss universal values such as Romantic Love, Family Hatred, Young Desire, Good and Bad Parenting, Deep Friendship. - I can also arrange transportation from Milan, from Venice, from Bologna: just ask! I hope to be able to meet you very soon! I am a local guide of Verona: I do not deliver tours in Milan (only pick up). I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

His majesty the Amarone wine is produced in the hilly Valpolicella area, north of Verona city. As a level 1sommelier, I am happy to introduce you to our local grape varietals and our unique drying process. It is many, many years that I take my guests in the area and I know very many of the nicest boutique cellars. Their wine- making philosophy is "va pian e falo ben" ("go slow and make it right"). On this tour you are picked up in Milan by a professional driver. Once you are in my area, we meet and I am able to give you an introduction to the area, to the local wines and to the grape drying process for making the Amarone. I select 2 cellars for you, usually a medium sized cellar and a family run one. At the cellars we have a tasting, with wine and finger food, and we get to know the wine makers in a very personal way. At the end of your day you are taken back to Milan. (Please note that this tour is possible also with transportation from Verona downtown and on the way from Milan to Venice)
-Pick up in Milano city -Transfer with private minivan to the Amarone area -Visit to 2 boutique cellars with local guide/level 1 sommelier -Amarone wine and food tastings at each cellar -Transfer back to Milan
