Cinque Terre and Pisa, from Florence

The Cinque Terre on the coast of the Liguria region are five fishing villages dating back to the 11th century. Its breathtaking villages on the cliffs, as well as the dry terraces planted with grape vines in its mountains are the result of the hard work of the farmers hands that over the centuries have forged the landscape. For this reason, today it is Cinque Terre National Park and included in the UNESCO list as a World Heritage Site. On this tour we will visit at least three of the five charming fishermen villages, by train, foot or boat, depending on weather conditions. It will be possible to experience the trails in the National Park, walk along the narrow streets of the villages, go down to the seaside, where the small old wooden boats and nets lie down in the harbor, and eventually, on good season, swim in the Mediterranean sea. For lunch, a family-style trattoria is the natural reward for reaching this wonderful place! We can include a one hour stop in Pisa, to admire the romanesque, leaning tower.
