I would like to present myself as an expert of Itineraries in Florence and Tuscany. Florence is my base town, but I have lived for a long time in Siena Province, Chianti and San Gimignano. Certainly I have expertise in every corner of Tuscany. I offer and enjoy also giving tours in other destinations in Central Italy Liguria, Emilia, Umbria and Rome. My university formation is in the Fine arts and history. I am a licensed tour guide, tour manager and tour agent. I have followed several other courses in languages, wine production and Italian food. My professional experiences were for long time in art galleries. As a child, I traveled a lot with my family, as student I liked the idea of being an expert and knowledgeable tour guide. My passion for art, history, outdoor living, landscapes, cuisine made this possible in my mature age. That is how I started in 2009 my experience as a tour guide. I worked as free lance for several local companies based in Florence. Since 2016 I am promoting my services on this Platform ToursByLocals. I have no words to explain how great experience it has been since than. As of today, I prefer giving guided tours in the museums of Florence. But, I am passionate of exploring surroundings, towns, villages or trails off the beaten paths. My regular tours are result of experience . Rolling hills, hilltop towns, wine cellars in the surroundings of Florence

The world famous area of Chianti Region in Tuscany is waiting for you to explore it. Rolling hills, breathtaking landscapes, harmony of the colours, sounds, scents and flavours will be an unforgettable expereance. The tour starts with a drive through the most scenic roads of the region. Visiting the wine cellars or their shops, is one of the great attractions. You may be accommodated at 1 or 2 location, as you wish. Tasting of the famous red wine Chianti, white wines if available, and Supertuscans, arround Greve in Chianti. The town itself is an attraction. It's main square, oval shaped surrounded by vaulted walkway and numerous characteristic shops will be for you a joyful and personal breakaway. You may buy wine to take away, or to ship back home. In the late '80 II lived in Greve. I went to visit most of this properties. Some even before they turned into modern and attractive places. I consider myself a good conosseur. There are many options. If you have any particular estate ask about the availability.

- Departure from Florence. - 40 min drive to Mercatale or some other location near Greve. - 45 min or max 1 hour stop at 1st winery. - 20 min driving, arrival at Greve. - Up to 40 minutes free time in Greve in Chianti. - We will decide on the ground of departure time, season, weather and your interests if we continue driving scenic back roads towards, Panzano, Badia a Passignano and return to Florence. - we might stop at another estate - opportunity for nice snaps. - Time we need to return to Florence 45 min. - This itinerary is optimized. Could be flexible, than we need to customize the tour. - We can end the tour in Siena if you require, and we agree about the final stop. As hotels or lodgings near the city center.
