Oliena - Inside Sardinia's Blue Zone

Sardinia is famous for its beautiful beaches, magnificent landscapes, and millennial cultural heritage; however, there is something even more incredible that sets this island apart from other Italian regions: its Blue Zone. On this tour, we will visit Oliena, one of Sardinia's most famous Blue Zones, and its territory, which ranges from the majestic Supramonte to the wonderful Lanaitho Valley; inside the latter there are the fascinating and mysterious prehistoric sanctuary of Sa Sedda 'e Sos Carros and the caves of Grotta Corbeddu and Sa Ohe 'e Su Entu, frequented by humans ten thousands of years ago. We'll have also occasion to taste the Nepente, one of Sardinia most renowned red wines, discover the production of the bread, Sardinia's typical dried bread, and admire the outstanding products of a local leatherworker and shoemaker.
