Hi, my name is Martino, I'm an archaeologist and a tour guide, I love reading and listening about history in general and I have passion for books ad videogames. Food, as most of us know, is one of the first distinct aspect of a country and its local culture. Sardinia is absolutely no exception! In this tour I will bring you in two of the best local restaurants in Cagliari at the start and the end of it. Between the two bars will visit a part of our city, the historical quarter of Stampace. If you are wondering about the food, there are the "Culurgiones", sardinian ravioli made with potatoes, mint and a little of pecorino cheese and black pepper, or the "Maloreddus", sardinian pasta with tomato sauce and sausages; between the meat dishes we have a lot of way to roast grill and cook cattles, pigs and sheeps. Join me and discover my city and flavors!
Our group was very satisfied with Martino. He gave us a history of Sardinia and the city of Cagliari. He took into account our wants and took us to a restaurant that was suitable for one of our party who is vegan. The wine tasting and food was great. He was very intuitive and wanted to make sure all members of our group was happy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walking city/food/wine tour of Cagliari with Martino! He is a great guide, knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Sardinia and their many expressions in Cagliari. Martino put us at ease with his friendly and easy-going style, and his food and wine recommendations were delicious. I recommend doing this tour early in your stay, as it is a good way to become acquainted with this fascinating city.

1st) We will meet in front of the cruise port. 2nd) Visit "Su Cumbidu" and taste their local food and wine. 3rd) Walk through the historical quarter Stampace while we're going to the next restaurant for tasting. 4th) Visit "Sa Domu Sarda" and taste their local food and wine. If we have time, or if you just want to do another visit, we can go to an historical monument near the bar, The Roman Amphitheater.
