I started doing this tour because when I go to visit Vittoria and her family I feel at home! The popular Zac Efron (with the Netflix series) and Mark Ruffalo from the United States wanted to try this unmissable family experience in a small town in the beautiful mountains of Sardinia! It is a Full day excursion to Aritzo village, in the center of Sardinia, where an American research team investigated the genetic trait of its inhabitants and found out the presence of nearly 10 times more centenarians per capita than the rest of the world. Many shepherds live in this beautiful part of Sardinia, surrended by and enchanting and magical forest . Vittoria and her family will welcome us in a festive atmosphere and teach us the secrets of a slow life and the traditional recipes of Sardinian cuisine. We will eat with the family and spend a day that we will remember for a lifetime! We will learn how to make the bread of the shepherds and we will have lunch all together in the grandmother's house.
-Departure from Cagliari, crossing an area full of beautiful woods. -Aritzo visit & Carpenter visit: he will tell us how he has inherited the passion for this ancient craft from generations. -Fresh Pasta (ravioli & gnocchetti sardi) & Carasau bread workshop: we will learn how to make the bread sheperds. - Family lunch all together at Grandma's. Vittoria and her family will tell us the story of their family and how time passes slowly in this small Sardinian town. -If interested, we can also see the shepherd who makes the cheese according to the season. - Old prison visit & ancient noble house (this stop can be changed to Barumini archaeological Unesco site, if guests are interested in archaeology). - Transfer back to Hotel in Cagliari Please contact me for customization.
