I have been a professional tour guide since the year 2000. I love my job and my beautiful island and I try to share this passion. I originally come from the blue Zone (Baunei), then I moved to the capital where I live. My goal is to make you discover the beauty, culture, traditions and peculiarities of Sardinia. I love travelling, but I think Sardinia is unique, a little continent in the Mediterranean Sea. I work with individuals, small and large groups of travellers in English and Italian. I offer a wide selection of customized tours, shore excursions, daily tours from the capital Cagliari and tours of Sardinia (small and large groups). Certified Tour Guide in Sardinia, licence n. 135 Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, Cagliari University , 1998 107/110 Driving Licence AG9259905 None.

Founded in the VIII century B. C, Nora was an important town under Roman rule. The city was abandoned in the 6th century, and little by little was buried under the sand till 1952. Explore it with me, I will show you the amazing mosaics, the massive thermal pools and the theatre. When I'm in ora, I often imagine myself like an ancient Roman "matrona" , having a relaxing sauna or enjoying a comedy in the theater. Ave, oh Paola ! Walk along the beach of Nora, one of the ones I enjoy most in the summer season, as it's really quiet, and you can feel if you like the fine sand under your feet. We reach the small church, built in the XII century, dedicated to Sant'Efisio, very crowded during the first four days of May for the religious festival. It's really interesting as you can better understand our culture and I will tell you why is this festival so important for us. On the way back, we're doing a panoramic drive of the capital Cagliari, with a "cagliaritana" like me, and I can tell you the secrets of this city.
• Driving to Nora, we pass along the lagoon of Santa Giusta, where we can see the pink flamingoes. • As soon as we reach the archaeological site, we walk 5 minutes along the beautiful beach to reach the excavation. We start the visit stopping at the panoramic hill, then we walk about 1 hour stopping at the most important points of interest: mosaics, columns, market, temple, theatre. • After the visit, we reach the small church of Saint Ephisius on the other side of the beach of Nora, and we drive back to Cagliari on the same road. • Once in town, we have a panoramic drive and we stop first for an external explanation at the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria. • We then reach the panoramic hill of Monte Urpinu, where we stop 10 minutes for some pics. With the car, we reach the medieval district, so we can see the ramparts, the cathedral and the Middle Age towers. • Drive downhill and we finally stop at the lively Piazza Jenne This tour can be customized for larger groups (up to 7 people)
