I was born in a farming village in southern Sardinia. I am a tourist guide and archaeologist specialized in Prehistory of Sardinia. My father passed down to me the passion for archaeology and for my land. I decided to work as a guide because I enjoy working with people and I like to share my passion for Sardinia. I have been working as a guide since 2010 and I know the Sardinian island very well, not only from an archaeological but also cultural and naturalistic point of view. I avoid places that are too touristy and crowded. I like to learn about and understand other cultures, that's why I visited several countries in the world and I lived in England and Spain. I love working with small and/or private groups because it allows me to create more professional, yet personal and down-to-earth relationships with clients. The CAR I use for my excursions is 5 SEATS car is a NEW DACIA DUSTER 2026: is a spacious SUV equipped with every comfort. It's a full hybrid, environmentally friendly and in keeping with my always eco-sustainable tours. For more then 4 people I can arrange a minivan. I'm also registered as a official driver with a KB driving license to be able to accompany clients in complete safety. Each excursion is different and stands out from the others because those who travel with me are an active part and make their own contribution to each experience, with their own character and personality. Working with people who visit Sardinia is a continuous exchange of knowledge, experiences and life! What I like and don't like. I like: dogs, because they love you unconditionally; hiking, because hikers are used to saying hello even if they don't know each other; nuraghi, because inside them I feel at home ; Sardinian ravioli: culurgiones, because they are very good!In general I love nature, forests and uncrowded places! I do not like: the city traffic; to spend Sunday in front of the TV. I do not work with large groups, but only as a private guide or for very small groups, because I believe it is important to empathize with the travelers I meet. Certified Tour Guide in Sardinia, licence n. 1156 Degree in Archaeology, Cagliari University, 2004, 110/110 Phd in Archaeology, Cagliari University, 2008, 50/50 Driving Licence B and Professional driving Licence: Certificate of professional competence, called Licence CAP (KB) Registered as a driver N. An immersive journey in the Sardinian south west, one of the wildest authentic and less known areas of Sardinia, in contact with the locals and flavors of the oldest land in Italy. Explore spectacular views of the UNESCO World Heritage area, one of the most highly concentrated areas of mining history in Italy: beautiful cliffs and ruins of abandoned mining buildings, reflected in the blue and wild sea. You'll be thrilled to hear the hard history of this area. The beauty of the place in contrast with the harshness of the mining history made of effort and sacrifices. After the guided tour we will enjoy the panoramic position of PORTO FLAVIA facing the sea. Later we will visit a millenary olive grove considered by botanists to be the most important in the Mediterranean in terms of size and age of the olive trees. An open-air museum that houses 700 centuries-old olive trees, including the most majestic, called Sa Reina (the Queen).
• We start from Cagliari and we reach the belvedere of Nebida (about 1 hour driving), with a view of the Laveria La Marmora, an imposing late 19th century building, built overlooking the sea. The coast of Masua is not to be missed for those visiting Sardinia: sea and mines, a breathtaking landscape dotted with mining shafts and galleries. • Later we drive to Porto Flavia: a masterpiece of mining engineering unique in the world, in a spectacular location. It is one of the most interesting places of industrial archaeology on the whole island, an integral part of the geo-mineral park of Sardinia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you have the most beautiful view of the Pan di Zucchero stacks, the highest in the Mediterranean. • In a panoramic position facing the sea, we could just relax or take an aperitif with tasting of typical products. • The experience will end with a walk a walk among the millenary olive trees of S'Ortu Mannu.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
