I have been a professional tour guide since the year 2000. I love my job and my beautiful island and I try to share this passion. I originally come from the blue Zone (Baunei), then I moved to the capital where I live. My goal is to make you discover the beauty, culture, traditions and peculiarities of Sardinia. I love travelling, but I think Sardinia is unique, a little continent in the Mediterranean Sea. I work with individuals, small and large groups of travellers in English and Italian. I offer a wide selection of customized tours, shore excursions, daily tours from the capital Cagliari and tours of Sardinia (small and large groups). Certified Tour Guide in Sardinia, licence n. 135 Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, Cagliari University , 1998 107/110 Driving Licence AG9259905 None.

Cagliari and Sardinia were dominated by the Romans for seven Centuries, and they left lots of proofs of their magnificence all over the island. I will take you to a walking tour through the old city, visiting first the astounding site of Sant'Eulalia, where I can let you imagine how life was in the Roman times. Do not be afraid to explore with me the crypt of the Church of the Santo Sepolcro, where I will tell you its scary history. In the nerby crypt of Santa Restituta (a sacred Roman site ) I will tell you how my family and the inhabitants of the district used it as a shelter from the bombing of the WW2. We walk up to the Botanical Gardens to walk amid the luxurious vegetation, where we can see a Roman quarry and an impressive cistern. We then arrive at the Roman Amphitheatre, and I will describe you its gory shows during the Roman time. In the last part of the excursion, on our way back downhill, we visit the Medieval district of Castello with the Medieval towers and the Romanesque cathedral. Ajò !
• We start visiting Cagliari from the beautiful Marina District, where we are going to visit Sant'Eulalia excavations, and the nearby Santo Sepolcro baptismal fount. • A walk through the cozy streets and across the animated Piazza Jenne (where we have the time for a snack or a gelato) will take us to Santa Restituta Crypt. • Walk uphill to reach the Botanical Gardens, where you have the chance to enjoy the fresh shade of centenarian trees. • Another short walk uphill and we will be in front of the Roman Amphitheatre, where we are going to stop for pics and for an external explanation (restoration in progress). • Then we will reach Buoncammino Boulevard, for an amazing view over the city and the port of Cagliari. • Visit the Castello District, passing and stopping in front of the medieval towers and the ramparts. • After visiting the romanesque Cathedral of Saint Mary we walk slowly downhill to end the tour in Piazza Jenne.
