I was born in a farming village in southern Sardinia. I am a tourist guide and archaeologist specialized in Prehistory of Sardinia. My father passed down to me the passion for archaeology and for my land. I decided to work as a guide because I enjoy working with people and I like to share my passion for Sardinia. I have been working as a guide since 2010 and I know the Sardinian island very well, not only from an archaeological but also cultural and naturalistic point of view. I avoid places that are too touristy and crowded. I like to learn about and understand other cultures, that's why I visited several countries in the world and I lived in England and Spain. I love working with small and/or private groups because it allows me to create more professional, yet personal and down-to-earth relationships with clients. The CAR I use for my excursions is 5 SEATS car is a NEW DACIA DUSTER 2026: is a spacious SUV equipped with every comfort. It's a full hybrid, environmentally friendly and in keeping with my always eco-sustainable tours. For more then 4 people I can arrange a minivan. I'm also registered as a official driver with a KB driving license to be able to accompany clients in complete safety. Each excursion is different and stands out from the others because those who travel with me are an active part and make their own contribution to each experience, with their own character and personality. Working with people who visit Sardinia is a continuous exchange of knowledge, experiences and life! What I like and don't like. I like: dogs, because they love you unconditionally; hiking, because hikers are used to saying hello even if they don't know each other; nuraghi, because inside them I feel at home ; Sardinian ravioli: culurgiones, because they are very good!In general I love nature, forests and uncrowded places! I do not like: the city traffic; to spend Sunday in front of the TV. I do not work with large groups, but only as a private guide or for very small groups, because I believe it is important to empathize with the travelers I meet. You will have the opportunity to visit the most important archaeological site of Sardinia discovering its history and majestic architecture with me, a Sardinian Archaeologist! I chosed doing this tour because my father told me about it since I was a child: in fact, like me, he studied archeology and his professor was the famous archaeologist Giovanni Lilliu who excavated this archaeological sites in the '50s. Approaching the site you will be astonished at the impressive mass of the nuraghe. We will enjoy the silence of nature and the flavours of a very ancient land. . . A escape from civilization and a dive into the past will feel like going back in time when man was in contact with nature!

This was a fantastic tour. Laura’s deep knowledge of history and archaeology kept us captivated and brought the region’s past vividly to life. She also took us to an incredible farm-to-table restaurant near the archaeological site, where the farm owner/chef treated us like family. We enjoyed fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, olives, and house-made olive oil. It was truly an unforgettable day.
Laura was a knowledgeable and fun guide. We were looking for a private tour to see Su Nuraxi de Barumini. Laura had wonderful guides to show us the history and explained everything well. We recommend Laura as a guide and if/when we return we would use her again.
This was a very interesting tour and Laura is the best guide we had during our stay in Sardinia. She is so interesting and knowledgeable. The ruins are really interesting. There is some climbing on steep stone steps—wear good walking shoes for this outing. We also loved visiting the high plateau and seeing the wild horses. It was great to get out of Cagliari and see the country and learn about the rich history of the region.
Laura was one of the very best guides I have ever had, and I say this as someone who has been to 188 countries all over the world. I have a special interest in ancient civilizations, so Laura was the perfect guide for me because she is an archeologist. Her knowledge of the Nuraghic, Carthaginian, and Roman civilizations is very deep, and as a result her explanations of the ancient sites were fantastic and really made the sites come alive.
• We start from Cagliari and we reach the nuraghe of Barumini in a private car in about 50 minutes. The main characteristic of nuraghes is the magnificence of their dome-shaped halls. Barumini is the most visited archaeological site in Sardinia; the ancient castle, built 3500 years ago that draws gasps from its visitors: with towers of over 20 metres, you will not find anything like this in any other country. • After visiting the site we drive for a relaxing walk in the Giara di Gesturi, a high basalt plateau that looms above the surrounding country. This plateau, splashed with macchia, small cork oaks, is home to the red long-horned bulls peculiar to Sardinia, and the unique wild cavallini (literally mini horses ). The plateau also has its own microclimate, best seen in spring, when the ground is covered in heather and the 15 species of orchid are in bloom.
