Wine Tasting in Brunello Valley - Day Trip From Bologna

I lived and worked in these area where the people are friendly. I like this area because It's wild and at the same time generous. Situated on the hills surrounding Siena The Brunello Valley is characterized by a series of beautiful hills covered from vineyards and olive trees and Cipresses cue. The end of summer and the beginning of autumn is the right time to visit the area, during the harvest grapes or when the olives are already harvested. We will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the area, the ancient crops while walking through the vineyards and olive groves. We will visit the wonderful country houses with beautiful cellars where Brunello wine and Rosso di Montalcino are still produced and we will have lunch based on typical Tuscan products, tasting the different wines and extra virgin olive oil (EVO).

Just two hour and half far from Bologna by car, it's a great opportunity to explore by car the gorgeus landscape, visiting country houses, walking in the vineyard and olive grown. During a day we will have a great opportunity to visit famous Countryhouses and taste different kind of wine (Brunello di Montalcino) and Food (tipical tuscany dishes).
