Hi everyone, my name is Cristina and I am a regularly qualified guide of the city of Ferrara and its province, later extended certification to the entire Emilia Romagna region. The historical center of Ferrara and all its province is also recognized by Unesco as world heritage thanks to its medieval city centre and Renaissance urbanistic structure of the town and walls. Three specialized courses (organized by the Town Hall of Ferrara and held by professor of Art Academy of the University of Bologna) for tourist guides to lead groups inside art exhibitions at Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara. Course for leading religious itineraries in Ferrara and its province during the Jubilee of the year 2000. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver or public bus or private bus or trains. I can arrange for you tours where you can fly over some cities with an helicopter with a specialized flyer.

Overview of your Bologna tour
A walk to discover the medieval city centre : we will see the Neptune's fountain one of symbol of the city, then we will walk across the big square Piazza Maggiore to reach Saint Petronio Church. Walking through the streets of the so called Quadrilatero ( 4 streets where there were the old market still specialised in typical food) you will see many typical products like stuffed pasta for example tortellini etc and banks with vegetables between food shops,. We will reach then the square in front of the Palazzo of the Merchants with all medieval buildings and porticos then we will see Saint Stephen's square or 7 churches square with magnificent palaces all around. Then we will walk along the typical medieval narrow streets, to admire another symbol of the town, the two Towers, Asinelli and Garisenda to reach then the old Jewish quarter.

Quadrilatero to reach the Two Towers and the Palace of the Merchants. Walking again we will then reach Saint Stephen's square then after passing the Two Towers we could reach the old Jewish quarter or come back to Piazza Maggiore . On request I can reserve for you and looked you to some the restaurants nearby the Main Street of the town, Via Indipendenza.
