Hi, I'm Priya! I've lived in and loved Mumbai all of my life. I appreciate good food, a good book, animals, music, dancing, and loads of other stuff. I love travelling, and have been around quite a bit. . . seen India from corner-to-corner. I've lived in Sweden for a few months in Spring/Summer 2016 and been to parts of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Egypt, the UAE, Kenya, South Africa, Mauritius, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, The Philippines and China. I've worked as a lifestyle journalist for 25+ years, including an eight-year stint with the Times of India, India's leading English-language daily. I was also the Editor of two parenting magazines for seven years and later headed a successful digital publication dedicated to travel and food, before I pursued my career in freelance writing (which I currently do). On this tour, you'll see many different areas of South Mumbai (the part that's rich with history and culture), get a feel of life in the city and taste some local cuisine if you like.

We could not have enjoyed our day more! Priya is a wonderful guide and, even more importantly, she is fun, empathetic, and a great communicator. We learned so much about Mumbai and its neighbourhoods, covered quite a bit of territory more efficiently than we could possibly have done by any other means (even factoring in the notorious Mumbai traffic scene!), and had an absolutely lovely lunch at the prettiest restaurant. She even took time to help us with some bargain-hunting shopping. Fab day!
Priya was just wonderful in every way. She was very knowledgable and her English was perfect. We had a fun early day seeing the flower market and watching how the city wakes up. The driver was great too, and we packed so much in to a half day starting at 6am! I highly recommend this tour and Priya.

I use only Toyota Innovas, as they are clean, modern, air-conditioned, with sufficient legroom and space for people of height and girth and good ground clearance to give you a smooth ride. When it's four tourists, two will have to go to the rear seat, which is slightly less roomy than the bucket seats at the centre.
