My name is Jenny and I have been living in Mumbai for most of my life and could never think of settling down in any other city as Mumbai has left an indelible mark on my personality and life. I have fallen in love with this melting pot of a city where you can find great paradoxes and little joys at every turn. Mumbai is pulsating, alive, always on the move, vibrant, fun and much more…… My thirst for knowledge, interminable sensitivity and empathy, genuine warmth, endless excitement, tireless dedication are some of the abilities I discovered I had that lead me since the year 2008 to be a Coordinator in Mumbai for organizations that sent volunteers to India from different countries around the world. I am a homemaker having a deep passion for Indian cooking and having seen the desire that many of these volunteers have for Indian food, which prompted me to start an Authentic Indian Cookery Class for people from other nationalities who are visiting India which has helped me meet and interact with a lot of people from other countries who have genuinely appreciated my Indian dishes. They also get to participate in the cooking process and enjoy an authentic Indian meal as well. This penchant I have for interacting with people from other nationalities coupled with the joy and passion I have in showcasing Indian culture, tradition, heritage and hospitality has now culminated in conducting Cookery Classes, City Tours, Street Food Tours, Shopping Tours, Slum Tours, Market Tours and anything and everything that helps to showcase the essence of Mumbai to my esteemed guests. . My Hardwork and Openmindedness is what drives me to always improve and never settle for anything less than exceeding my guests' expectations. I have interacted with foreigners from different parts of the world - USA, Europe, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand South Africa, Thailand, Taiwan, HongKong, China, Japan, Singapore and am very comfortable with them. I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.

Mumbai is the perfect blend of culture, customs and lifestyles. The culture of Mumbai is a combination of tradition, religions, cuisines, music and fine arts. Termed as 'The city that never sleeps', it is one of the busiest cities in India. Fun is equally important to the people of Mumbai. This is evident from the way the festivals are celebrated. Though Diwali, Eid, Holi and Christmas are celebrated enthusiastically, nothing compares to the festival of Ganesh Chaturti.
Jenny was just fantastic, we asked for some particular things to see and she went out of her way to make sure that we had a great time ....we would whole heartedly recommend Jenny to anyone who wants an informative , friendly and open experience of mumbai ..... thank you Jenny
Jenny was a fantastic guide! She catered the tour to my schedule and interests and we got to see so much in a single day! She was a very knowledgeable guide, but also such a a delightful person. I would recommend Jenny highly to anyone looking to tour Mumbai for a day or a week! And she made sure I ate very well!
My partner and I always use Tours by Locals when traveling to a new destination / we have never had anything but exceptional locals and Jenny was no different / our visit was just a 24 hr layover so we wanted hi-lites and great food Jenny was a true professional / knew her history of Mumbai and put together a great day for us / we visited the Ghandi museum / saw the Gateway / Taj Hotel and topped it off with a wonderful lunch and view of the bay with the city in the distance / after weeks of monsoon rains we had partial sun and pleasant weather / the afternoon we drove north to the Global Pagoda / worth the short ferry ride / complete serenity Mumbai has the worst traffic of any city we have ever visited but her driver was excellent When you book a local guide you get a different perspective / she was thoughful / engaging and her passion for her country and what she does was evident

Jenny was absolutely perfect. She was equality kind, engaging, and informative. She had a great schedule but was flexible to include a museum that was not on her list. She took me to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. I now consider her a friend. Highly recommend.
