Explore Hyderabad your way

At ToursByLocals, we believe that how you explore is just as important as where you go. That’s why every Hyderabad tour is private, flexible, and built around you: Move at your own pace, skip the crowds, make connections and follow your curiosity. Find local guides offering private tours in Hyderabad for every interest, including:

History tours: Climb Golconda Fort with your guide to test the famous hand-clap that carries up to the ramparts, then continue to the Qutb Shahi Tombs to read inscriptions and learn how the dynasty shaped the city. Step into Chowmahalla Palace to see the Nizam’s durbar hall and vintage cars, with time for a close look at the palace clock tower that still keeps time.

Art and Culture tours: Browse Laad Bazaar beside Charminar to watch lac bangle makers at work, meet pearl drillers in a small workshop, and sample rose attar at a family-run perfumery. Visit Shilparamam craft village for artisan demos and an evening dance performance, or stop by Kalakriti or the State Gallery of Art to check current exhibitions with your guide.

Nature and Wildlife tours: Take an early walk in KBR National Park to spot peafowl and parakeets on quiet trails, then head to Ameenpur Lake with binoculars for migratory waterfowl and herons. Families can add the Nehru Zoological Park safari or a relaxed boat ride at Durgam Cheruvu to round out a day of nature-focused tours.

The city is partly walkable in compact areas like the Charminar precinct and along Necklace Road, but many sights are spread out; the metro, MMTS trains, and TSRTC buses make longer hops easier. If you prefer door-to-door travel, you can book chauffeured tours or tours with private transportation, and you can ask your local guide to arrange a car.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all itinerary, you can tailor your private tour to match your interests, pace and personality with a local who knows Hyderabad inside and out.
