Elephanta Caves Tour - a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Three thumbs up to Jenny for a most enjoyable day. We were picked up at the Cruise Port for our day of adventure to Elephanta Cave which was minus the Elephant. Jenny provided us with detailed information of the surrounding area, and then maneuvered us through the Gate of Mumbai, the boat for an 1hr ride to the island and escorted us for the short train ride to the location. Due to the guide requirements for the World Heritage Site, Jenny had secured an excellent Docent who explained the area in detail and even took many special photos for us. Jenny contacted us before the tour for additional things to do which were a wonderful addition to our day. Thank You Jenny, We couldn’t have had a better time.

We had such a lovely day with Jenny on our tour of Elephanta Caves. Jenny took care of all of our tickets and arranged to have a local guide take us through the caves. She was so personable and was so flexible when we wanted to make a few extra stops. Highly recommend a tour to the caves when in Mumbai and strongly recommend a tour with Jenny.

Jenny was a delightful guide! She is quite the entrepreneur and shared many details of her life during our outing. Jenny made sure everything went smoothly and hooked us up with a local guide on Elephanta Island. She thought ahead about things we might need and was in contact before the tour to make sure arrangements were in place for our day. Only regret is not spending more time together due to jet lag!

This was our second day with Jenny. She took us to Elephana island, then handed us over to a man who lives on the island and knows everything. One of our group couldn't handle the steps up to the cave, so Jenny sat with her and they had a fine time. And then there was the above and beyond part. I wanted to go back to our shops from the day before. We went to the pashmina shop near our hotel. But then I wanted to go back to the bead/jewelry shop to get some beads I'd gotten on Elephanta restrung. This required braving traffic, in the midst of a huge political event to get there. She and her driver did it. I wanted to kiss her.

We picked Jenny's tour to Elephant Island for the morning in Mumbai and contacted her. She suggested we create an all-day tour by doing the slum-dog millionaire tour in the afternoon. It worked out perfectly. Jenny met us at our hotel and got us on the first boat to Elephant Island with a loval guide. Then we had an excellent lunch at a spot that Jenny picked. After it was off to the Juhu slum where another local guide led the way. Jenny coordinated everything perfectly and got us back to our hotel.

We spent 2 great days exploring Mumbai with Jenny. She is personable and very tuned into everyone's needs. She took us all over Mumbai and showed us many different sights. As we were interested to try local food she took us different places to try street food - tried and safe places for visitors, it added to our Mumbai experience. She stayed with us longer to take us see city lights after dark. Definitively did more and above to add to our experience. When we come again we hope to see her again.
