I as a guide will help in exploring gurdwara Darbar Sahib of Tarn Taran Do you know that the Darbar Sahib of Tarn Taran has the biggest pool or sarovar? You will be happy to see the village life of Punjab in which how the people of Punjab will make you feel special, the way they cook the food, their simplicity and lifestyle. The village life is totally different from the city life. You will experience the calm , peaceful and pollution free atmosphere. You will love to breathe under the clear sky and enjoy sunshine. Above all this you will see the joint family system taking care of each other, which is what I enjoy the most.
Your Amritsar tour itinerary
- First we will drive from Amritsar to a local village Gohlwar. It will take around 45 minutes to reach it. - We will have have a warm welcome by villagers, a tractor ride across streams, walk through the vegetable farm, have food from village's Kitchen like Sarson ka Saag , Makki ki Roti and Lassi, play local traditional games, have Punjabi style Turban tied on our heads and an application of Mehndi on hands, etc. This part takes almost 2-3 hours enjoying the village culture. - Then we will visit Tarn Taran Sahib -> a place with the largest Sarovar(water pond) of all the Gurudwaras. It is the replica of Shri Harminder Sahib, Amritsar. It will take around an hour paying obsenince there. The tour to above places can be customized according to the traveler's wishes
