I'm very interested in people and places, and I care for both. My passion for my country, India, and my people is what I attempt to convey to my clients through tour guiding, and that is the sentiment I wish for them, too, to return home with. I take personal interest in ensuring my clients' interests, pace of travel and safety are met. I am also attentive to their moods and physical state of health on a day to day basis. I am mature and understanding. I am aware that while working through a third party, it is not only my own reputation as a Tour Guide that I need to preserve but also that of the organization I represent and its other agents I might be working with. I would be pleased to provide local guiding services on the art, culture, history and traditions of India, along with the best sightseeing tips, whether you have already planned your trip to India, or not. In this case, I would also be pleased to help you in planning your itinerary, based upon your interests and the intended duration of your stay. I look forward to showing you my home city, state and country so please get in touch! I have a B.A. (Honours) degree in History. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

When travellers talk of heading up to Dharamsala (to see the Dalai Lama…), this is where they mean. Three kilometres north of Dharamsala town (or 10km via the looping bus route), McLeod Ganj is the residence of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and home to a large Tibetan population, including many monks and nuns. The Tibetan government-in-exile is based just downhill at Gangchen Kyishong. McLeod attracts thousands of international visitors each year to volunteer with the Tibetan community, take courses in Buddhism, meditation or yoga, trek in the Dhauladhar mountains, shop for Tibetan crafts, or just hang out and enjoy the low-budget spiritual/alternative vibe and the many good cafes and restaurants dishing up Indo-Italo-Israeli-Tibetan food. With an interesting mix of travellers, volunteers, maroon-robed monks and nuns, the international dharma crowd and an increasing flow of Indian tourists, you're never far from an interesting conversation here. Renowned as the residence of Tibetan spiritual leader.
