My name is Narinder, and I was born and brought up in Amritsar, Punjab. I have been working as a professional tourist guide for the past nine years, proudly continuing a family profession that was started by my late father. He used to conduct local tours around Amritsar in his jeep, introducing visitors to the city’s rich history, culture, and everyday life. Our professional driver and I will pick you up from your hotel in Amritsar at the scheduled time, and your memorable city tour will begin. The tour starts with a visit to the magnificent Golden Temple, where you can experience its peaceful spiritual atmosphere and admire one of India’s most iconic landmarks. We will then visit Jallianwala Bagh, an important historical site that commemorates a significant chapter in India’s freedom struggle. Next, explore the Partition Museum and discover the personal stories, memories, and experiences associated with the Partition of India. In the afternoon, we will proceed towards the Attari–Wagah Border to witness the famous Beating Retreat Ceremony, a spectacular display of military tradition, patriotism, and ceremonial spirit by the Indian and Pakistani border forces. After the ceremony, we will drive back to Amritsar and drop you safely at your hotel .
