Amritsar is a sacred city, where people from whole world come to see the Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple ). But, that's not only what Amritsar is famous for! It's food and rich culture and many hidden gems can only be seen with a local guide like me. Just wait till you experience the narrow lanes flooded with the fragrance of thousands of spices. I personally find peace at Golden temple and The Company garden, places where I can visit any time and meditate too. Living in this city since birth has helped me to have the knowledge about the history and the hidden places of the city better than any tourist guide who will make you visit only the popular places which can be easily seen from google. I would be really glad to meet you at your hotel so that you guys do not find any difficulty . I am looking forward to showing you my home city!
This was a really great tour. Simarjeet is very knowledgeable and also a great fixer in general. I got to see all that I wanted and we managed to avoid traffic jams and other time killers in a very efficient way. Unfortunately, I had only one day to spend in Punjab and I decided to spend it in Amritsar. I would have loved to see more of what is available in the region.
Simrajeet is a great guide! Knowledgable, funny, and very patient. He showed us around the Golden Temple and took us to the Partition Museum and around downtown Amritsar. He also knows some great local restaurants and other interesting spots around town. I've had a lot of guides on a lot of trips to India and he is definitely top-tier. Definitely book him if you can for whatever you want to see in Amritsar.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. With Simarjeet, we toured The Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, the Wagah Border as well as other local places. He was very responsive and went out of his way to locate additional services we needed along the way. Even after the tour, Simarjeet checked in with us to help with other questions we had and recommendations during our remaining time in Amritsar. We enjoyed his company and felt very taken care of.
- The tour starts from hotel, I shall accompany you to Golden Temple (also known as the Harmandir Sahib, lit. 'Abode of God', or the Darbar Sahib, 'exalted court'. - In Golden temple , we shall visit all important spots in the premises. If time permits , I shall also show you Community kitchen (Langar Hall) , where more than one lac devotees partake food free of cost everyday. The langar is open 24hrs and is an experience in itself. (Duration appx 2 to 3 hours) - Next stop would be Jallianwala Bagh, a historic garden and 'memorial of national importance' , preserved in the memory of freedom fighters during British rule. (Duration 1 hour) - If time permits , I shall take you to the partition museum , a must visit place during your trip to Amritsar (duration 1 hour). - Post lunch , we'll proceed to Indo Pak International Border (Attari-Wagah Border) , 29 Km away from Amritsar, where you shall watch The flag down ceremony of both the countries , often starts before sunset time. (Duration 3 hours).

Vehicle included in the trip. Pick up from the Hotel and drop back there. It's a modern car with A/C. We can have sitting capacity of five persons in the car: driver, me and three passengers.
