WWI Somme Battlefields Day Trip from Paris

A full day tour of the Somme battlefields where you'll be fascinated by the history o French and British military. The tour duration is approximately 11 hours which includes hotel pick up and drop-off. We'll walk on the sites which has a significant story of the bloodiest battles fought during World War I. We'll also visit several war memorials and Péronne Historial, Museum of the Great War. Visit Deville Wood cemetery in Longeuval which served as the final resting place of more than WWI fallen soldiers. There is a gigantic Lochnagar mine crater in La Boisselle which is approximately 100 meters long. Various memorials are observed throughout the area including a site made for the missing British soldiers in Ulster Tower, Thiepval and Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial. You'll see the tributes for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during the Battle of Somme such as Australian National Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux. The Australian flag is held high and evident across Poziere.
