Then this tour is made for you! My Versailles tour will introduce you to the French history of the XVII and XVIII centuries. During this period France was at its apogee as the French kings were the most powerful European monarchs while Versailles was the main residence of the royal family. During the tour you will not only visit the most famous royal palace in Europe but also learn about the Sun-King Louis the XIV and the guillotined queen Marie-Antoinette, hear the stories about the French Revolution and absolute monarchy. Don't book your tickets yourself. I will make a necessary reservation to guarantee you skip-the-line entrance to the palace.
- Departure from Paris by a suburb RER train or with a taxi (12 miles = 45 min/1 hour ride). - Guided tour of the Palace. - Short guided tour of the gardens. - Return to Paris or stay to discover more of Versailles gardens.

Transportation is not included. It is possible to reach Versailles by a suburb RER train (about 45 min ride, then 10 min walk to the Palace), departure from RER Musee d'Orsay station. We can also take a taxi or an Uber (45 min) from your accommodation in Paris.
