Tour the wonders of Le Louvre

Our trip through the Louve with Cecilia was SPECTACULAR. I will say, I had a trip scheduled with another guide. She had lots of great reviews, but she seemed very "sign up now" or there won't be spots sort of pressure. I signed up and then she told us we had to purchase Louvre tickets through her. This was true, but as it turned out she added an extra commission to the tickets to pocket. I cancelled and thanked her and got a reply of 'I hope you can find your way around.' Then I found Cecilia. OMG so chill, nice and did NOT upcharge the tickets. Yes you do have to get the tickets through them and this gives you a special walk in instantly pass. Cecilia was fun, knowledgeable and pleasant. Do not look elsewhere, just hire her! I have used Tours by Locals for years now ans she is in the top 10%

Cécilia was a fantastic tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and worked with us to personalize the Louvre tour based on her recommendations and the items that most interested us. She has a great personality and her passion for what she does oozes from her. She also knew "all the tricks" to maximize our time (starting in the Napoleon Apartments instead of the Mona Lisa). We were literally the only one in that part of the Louvre when we started. I would highly recommend Cécilia to everyone.

She was dynamic and engaging; had lots of fun facts to share about the Louvre, and made our experience there just perfect! Visiting the Louvre can be intimidating experience. It is so big and so crowded that it is impossible to view all the treasures in one day. However, one day was all we had. Cecilia was the perfect answer to our problem. She was able to walk us right in at our appointed time and store our backpack so no need to carry it for 3 hours. She was able to navigate the museum expertly so that we were able to see some of the most important and not to be missed pieces. She was funny, knowledgable , and very informative and it was a pleasure to spend the morning accompanying her while she guided us through a museum she knows so well. We unfortunately visited during a heat wave and half the museum was shut down. Cecilia didn’t miss a beat as she never ran out of objects to show and information to share while we toured the open part of the building. If you want a guide who will make your visit not only informative but fun I highly recommend you book your visit with Cecilia. We were glad we did.
