Paris is a special city. It's elegant, pretty, sophisticated, calm, and intellectually inspiring. Our tour guide Martina is much like Paris. She knows her history, making the exploration of Paris exciting. Although she is not from Paris, I can't think of a quality that Martina lacks that could make her better at her job. She is gracious, intelligent, considerate, studied, informative, fun, and speaks with a beautiful french accent. Our group of four enjoyed our time with her immensley. So much so that we had two tours with her in one day, with a two hour break in between. Our group insisted she have lunch with us during this break at our expense, and we were rewarded with her selection of her favorite Creperie for lunch. Martina is a wonderful tour guide who represents Paris with class that it deserves.

Overview of your Paris tour
Walking tour through the streets of two of the most iconic neighbourhoods in Paris, the Marais and the Latin Quarter. The tour starts from the first royal square in Paris, the elegant Place des Vosges, home to art galleries and trendy cafes. From there we will continue to discover the Marais with its hotels particuliers and its ancient medieval houses. We will visit the exterior of the Shoah memorial, unmissable in a neighbourhood that is home to the main Jewish community in Paris. We will then cross the Seine, towards Notre Dame's cathedral, passing through the sophisticated Saint Louis' Island and after admiring the beauty of the Gothic cathedral we will head towards the Latin Quarter, home of the Sorbonne's University and beating heart of the city's intellectual life with its bookstores and small churches. The tour will end at the Luxembourg Gardens, the most elegant and beautiful park in Paris, just two steps away from the Pantheon, the temple dedicated to intellectuals who made history.

Our guide was excellent! She was knowledgeable about the historical background of the area, and made a point of showing us hidden beauty that we would not have found on our own. We experienced the tour on our first day in Paris so she was helpful at showing us around the area to better get our bearings. Even though we covered a lot of ground in our three hour tour we never felt rushed and was always entertained. Martina has passion for the area she was presenting and it showed though her time with us.
