Private Paris Guide | 15+ Years Experience | Licensed | Featured by ToursByLocals I’m Gabriela—your guide in Paris for over 15 years. Many of my guests say touring with me feels like exploring the city with a friend. And that’s true—but it’s only part of the story. I’m also a licensed professional guide, trained to guide in Paris with precision, depth, and a strong sense of timing. Whether you’re here for the first time or returning, I make sure your experience actually fits you—not a standard route. ✷ STYLE AND PERSONALITY I’m clear, engaging, easy to follow—and, I hope, fun! My American guests often mention how much they enjoy my accent and clarity. I spent two years in the United States during high school, which shaped my communication style. I know when to bring energy, when to go deeper, and when to simply let you take it all in. The experience flows naturally, no tour is ever scripted. ✷ WHAT SETS ME APART What truly sets me apart is not just what I know—it’s how I guide. Some tours are purely informative, others are more fun than anything else. I make sure you get both, judging the balance between the two. You’ll understand what you’re seeing, but you’ll also enjoy the moment—because a great tour should never feel like a lecture. ✷ A BIT ABOUT ME I studied cinema and art history at the Sorbonne University, and I’ve split my career between guiding (with ToursByLocals since 2010) and working in contemporary art. If you visit museums or galleries with me, you’ll experience them differently: with context, clarity, and perspective that bring everything to life. Art, history, philosophy, and especially sociology are not just interests—they’re part of how I perceive my city. This background allows me to go beyond explanations—offering insight, context, and a more nuanced understanding of what you’re seeing. ✷ CREDENTIALS Licensed Paris tour guide (fully authorised to guide inside museums and historic sites) BA and MA in Film and Art studies from Sorbonne's School of the arts Member of the International Association of Art Critics Member of the French Art Curator Association. 15+ years of professional guiding experience Selected by ToursByLocals for their video series 👉 Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBQZvDgbQmk ✷ WHAT MY TOURS FEEL LIKE My goal is simple: to give you a version of Paris that feels effortless, interesting, and genuinely enjoyable. This is the opposite of a generic, one-size-fits-all tour. Each experience is well-paced, instinctively structured, and continually adjusted so everything makes sense — to you, whether we spend a few hours or a full week together. That’s why many of my guests tell me: “This didn’t feel like a tour—it felt like it was made for us.” Paris has many knowledgeable guides, and thankfully so! What I offer is a different kind of experience—one that combines years of expertise with a real sense and appreciation for people. A happy visitor to my beloved city is my highest form of reward. See you in Paris!

Montmartre is more than a postcard—it’s a village shaped by centuries of history and creativity. 🏛️👨🎨 From its early roots in Roman times and the Middle Ages to its artistic peak during the Belle Époque, this hilltop neighborhood has always stood apart from the rest of Paris. Artists like Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Van Gogh lived and worked here, leaving behind a unique atmosphere that still resonates today. 👉 This private walking tour goes beyond the modern-day artist square and souvenir shops to explore the deeper layers of Montmartre—its history, its stories, and its character as a living neighborhood. With over 15 years of experience, I guide you through it with clarity, context, and a natural flow—so you don’t just see Montmartre, you understand it. Perfect for travelers who want depth, authenticity, and a richer experience of Paris.
Our walking tour of Montmarte with Gabriella was excellent. She was incredibly knowledgeable and so approachable. An amazing experience that helped provide context to such a neat part of Paris.
My hope when touring locally is a deeply informed guide who sprinkles fascinating anecdotes of interest, historical context, off-the-beaten track exploration, bits of humor and levity, an engaging personality, allowances for spontaneous Q&A, and undeniable engagement. That's exactly what Gabriela delivered, with joy. We loved every minute and strongly advocate for her!
Gabriela was recommended to us by friends and she did not disappoint. We had a wonderful afternoon learning about French history and how Montmartre fit into it contextually. She had a wealth of knowledge and was able to communicate her knowledge effectively and humorously. We could tell she thoroughly enjoys what she does. We even went over our allotted time. I only wish we had time to do other tours she offered. I definitely recommend her highly!!!
Gabriela is amazing. She accommodated all our needs. Wonderful experience, friendly, extremely knowledgeable. And we shopped in addition to touring and I got an awesome linen dress. Highly recommend!!!
Highly recommended! This was the second tour I took with Gabriela, the day after our tour of the Left Bank. Once again, she did an excellent job pointing out things that make the area (in this case Montmartre) special. I want to highlight that Gabriela is very open to customizing the tour experience for her client's comfort. For example, there are a lot of stairs leading up to the Sacre Coeur Basilica. She was very good about asking if I wanted to walk up them or take the funicular up. (We took the funicular up then walked down). She's also accommodating about snapping a photo for you on your phone, if you want to be in the picture with a unique Parisian background. Gabriela's English is excellent, so all communication, whether she was telling me about history of the area or we were just chatting while waiting in line, was easy and comfortable. I highly recommend Gabriela's tours.
Lovely tour of Montmartre and its history. As many of the artists who lived there have pieces in Orsay, I recommend a visit immediately after the tour. Thank you!
A typical walk includes a mix of major landmarks and hidden streets: ✷ Sacré-Cœur Basilica (exterior + views over Paris) ✷ Place du Tertre (artists’ square) ✷ Montmartre’s historic village streets ✷ Former artists’ locations (Picasso, Renoir) ✷ Vineyards and old windmills ✷ Quiet corners away from the crowds ✷ Moulin Rouge area (lower Montmartre) We explore on foot at a comfortable pace, adapting slightly depending on your rhythm and interests. Montmartre is built on a hill, so there are some inclines—but we take it in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. The goal is not to rush, but to understand the neighborhood, its history, and its atmosphere.
