I graduated in Political Science and started my career in public affairs, but I quickly changed my mind to become both a French-class teacher and an official Tour Guide (sharing and learning: my real passions). Welcome to Paris! Let's discover the center of my city from the Opera to the Notre Dame Cathedral. During this walking tour, we will explore the tumultuous, revolutionary and often funny history of Paris. We will discover many emblematic landmarks and you will leave the tour with not only the feeling of knowing how to find your way around Paris, but also of belonging a little bit more to this city. We will explore the fancy right bank of Paris, where the wealthy ones settled in the XIX century to create a modern and vibrant city, and walk along the river, where Paris was born thousands of years ago. I will explain you why Notre Dame Cathedral (a Unesco World Heritage Site) is so emblematic and how it was saved from fire in 2019. All along our tour, I will also share what it is like to live in Paris nowadays with you, as well as give you good tips on french food and restaurants. Please note that we will use public transportation, as this is the quickest (and most authentic) way to travel in Paris.
Elliott was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and had the ability to share a lot of information without "feeding us with a fire hose". He was also willing to modify the tour, somewhat in real-time, as we shared specific things we wanted to see or do.

Elliott was a wonderful tour guide and the perfect person to lead us around Paris on our second day in the city. He shared history and interesting details as we visited many sites. Loved going to Montmartre to see the Sacre-Coeur Basilica, the artists in the square, the views above the city, and the best macaroons! Elliott taught us how to use the subway and gave us great ideas for meals in the neighborhood where we were staying. Elliott's english is wonderful. He was very flexible and was able to modify our tour for us.
Most amazing tour I have been on. Elliot has excellent language skills and in depth knowledge of Paris, its history and architecture. He took a lot of time with us and tailored the tour to our needs. In depth visit to Notre Dame, the louvre exterior, Tuileries gardens. Then we let my husband return to the hotel with Elliot helping with taxi arrangements. Then Elliot and I took the metro to Montmartre and walked through Montmartre and up to Sacre Coeur. Toured the basilica. Elliot then walked to metro with me making sure I was on the correct train home, knew my station. 40 minutes later he texted to make sure I was successful in my travels
Elliott was a great guide and moved at a quick pace to show us as much of Paris around the city center as we could squeeze in! He was full of fun facts and interesting information and taught us how to use the Metro too! I would highly recommend using Elliott as his teacher training was perfect for the information my wife and I were looking for. He sent several suggestions for restaurants, cafes and activities immediately after the tour was finished.
Elliot was a fantastic guide. He's also a teacher so knew the history of not only all our stops but each area we went to. We were able to stop and have a coffee and a little food as well at a local cafe which was a welcome break. Would highly recommend Elliot, who does multiple different tours.
·The tour will begin from your accomodation in Paris, where we'll meet. ·Walking from the Opera, we will explore central Paris. You will understand why the right bank is made of large avenues with identical buildings from the XIX century. ·We will discover the luxury district around the Place Vendôme, and I'll share some fascinating stories linked to this area. ·Afterwards, we'll reach the Place de la Concorde and enjoy seeing its Egyptian obelisk. ·Next, we will walk across the beautiful Tuileries garden and come across Le Louvre, where we'll pass from the outside. ·Proceeding to the island of Paris, we'll reach the Notre Dame Cathedral from the outside, as it is impossible to get in nowadays. I'll tell you about how it was recently restored from a fire. ·I will conclude our by sharing some tips on great food in Paris with you, and especially refering you to good places close to your district. This tour can be customized upon request.
