Bonjour! Bienvenue à Paris! Welcome to Paris! My name is Monika and Paris has been my home for more than 15 years. I was born in Poland but my fascination for traveling and discovering new places brought me to France. I have always been interested in history, and literature, and Paris is the perfect city to pursue them. Since I am passionate about foreign languages and meeting new people I have studied French, Russian, and Spanish. I have been working as a guide and as a foreign language teacher for 10 years. Overview of your Paris tour
Join me on the walking tour of Paris to discover the landmarks of the city of lights. We will stroll through the charming streets of Montmartre where you will have a chance to enjoy one of the best views of the city. Our journey will lead us to the heart of Paris - Île de la Cité ,which includes the Notre Dame Cathedral and other monuments that locals are very proud of. Of course, we will not miss the most famous museum - the Louvre, and its beautiful gardens. If you wish we can also include a lunch / coffee break during our tour. Since I have been living and guiding in Paris for a long time I will provide you with the most important and intriguing information about the monuments but not only. Learning about the locals, their habits and Parisian life is part of our experience!

Our walking tour will take us from the Place des Abbesses (or your hotel) to: - Montmartre area with its fabulous Basilica Sacré Coeur. - Hotel de Ville - Île de la Cité (Notre Dame, Conciergerie and Saint Chapelle from outside) - Place de Dauphine and Pont Neuf - Louvre and Orsay Museums (from the outside) - Tuileries Gardens - Place de la Concorde I am happy to customize the tour according to your expectations and interests. The order of the visited places may differ depending on where we meet, but we will still cover all of them on our walking tour.
