We had a great time and tour with Sunday! I had booked her on three different tours for my wife and I and our 21 year old granddaughter. There was a chance that I might not be able to make the trip, and I wanted them well cared for by someone who spoke fluent English and French and was female. Sunday delivered in those areas and many more. I highly recommend her!

Our full day tour of Versailles with Sunday was truly one of the great highlights of our trip to France. Sunday provided a great pace to a long, but wonderful, day of the grandeur of the Palace and the beauty of its gardens. The Petit Trianon and Marie Antoinette's rural village were particular favorites. Sunday met us at the train station, and our trip to Versailles was easy and worry free. Plus, she was great fun throughout the day. We highly recommend Sunday!
Sunday was a very good guide for the two of us, especially on an unusually crowded day. In addition to guiding us, she acquired the tickets, met us at the Paris train station, and rode back and forth with us. As we were only three people, her firm, assertive demeanor allowed us to weave through the crowd without being hassled, while still being able to see everything.
Sunday was an engaging and very informative guide who has a real passion for her subject. We saw so many hidden and unexpected treasures and learned more and even some secrets about the lifestyles of the royals who lived here. It was a full and memorable day.
·Our tour will start traveling to Versailles from Paris by train altogether. ·Reaching Versailles, we will head right towards the Palace for exploring it, learning about the history of the French Kings, and also importantly, the lives of some key figures in French history, Louis XIV the Sun King, as well as Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette. -We will begin covering the Royal Apartments, which will show you the ways the monarchy lived, their lifestyles, the oddities surrounding a King's life, the excesses, and you'll learn how these excesses resulted in revolution. -From the palace interior, we will then make our way outside into the magical Versailles Palace Gardens designed by Andre Le Notre. -Afterwards, we will head to the Trianon Palace, home to Marie Antoinette. -Finally, we will cap our day off with a picnic in the Gardens (weather allowing), or otherwise grab a bite in the town of Versailles, before heading back to Paris. Please note I'm more than happy to customize this tour accordingly!
