Bonjour and welcome to Paris! My name is Lívia and I’m a certified guide in France. More than that, I’m a storyteller and I’m passionate about sharing stories of the City of Lights and the treasures it holds. It takes an instant to fall in love with Paris and, for me, that happened when I lived here for the first time, in 2008. Fast forward 10 years later and I'm back. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve worked as a journalist and a corporate communication specialist for 25 years in different countries like Brazil, the US, and China. When I moved to Paris, I was finally ready to take a break from the corporate world. I decided I should embrace my passion for art and history and transform my hobby into a new career. Hence, I became a certified guide and immersed myself in the stories of my new city. From the glamourous Champs Elysées to the historical – now hyped – streets of Marais, from the historical buildings of the Latin Quarter to the winding streets that lead to the Sacre Coeur, all these corners tell incredible tales filled with amazing characters. Now, I get to tell all these stories and share some of my favorite places. Let me take you to the Louvre to understand what’s behind the famous Mona Lisa, or to the Orsay Museums to show how art changed as Paris embraced modern times. Let me show you the grand rooms of Versailles and the beautiful gardens of Giverny.
