Paris has been my home for over twenty years, and curiosity still guides me every day. I’m someone who finds joy in small, meaningful details: baking for friends, spending time with horses, practicing calligraphy, painting, and recently exploring medieval miniature painting. These quiet, patient arts shape the way I see the world — with attention, care, and pleasure in taking time. My path to guiding began years ago while I was training to become an antique expert at the auction house Drouot. One day, a professor brought us to the Louvre and showed it to us as if it were his own home. That moment stayed with me. It inspired me to pursue professional museum guide training and eventually become a licensed guide. Since then, museums — especially the Louvre — have become places I truly enjoy making welcoming, clear, and approachable for others. I believe a museum visit should leave you with more than memories. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping visitors understand how to look at paintings, using Louvre masterpieces as examples, so they leave with confidence and skills they can use in any museum they visit afterward. My tours are conversational, adapted to your interests and pace, and designed to make art feel accessible rather than intimidating. With my long local experience and professional background in art history and museums, I guide Paris with both depth and warmth. I would be delighted to welcome you for a personalized visit and to help you experience the city — and its museums — in a thoughtful, relaxed, and memorable way.

This private Notre-Dame tour offers a clear and meaningful introduction to one of Paris’s most important monuments. We explore the cathedral through its art, architecture, history, and religious symbolism, helping you understand why Notre-Dame has held such a powerful place in Paris for centuries. Dates are included when helpful, but the focus is on meaning, art, and learning how to read the building. The visit can be tailored to your interests, whether you are drawn more to Gothic architecture, sculpture and stained glass, spiritual symbolism, or the story of the 2019 fire and ongoing restoration. The tour is guided in a calm, accessible way and is suitable for visitors with or without a background in art or history.
Sabine did an outstanding job educating us on Notre Dame and did an excellent job answering our questions about the history of Notre Dame with special focus on recent restoration activities. She was on time and was kind enough to escort into the cathedral at the end of our tour of the exterior. She has a great sense of humor, is extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend her!
Sabine has a phenomenal knowledge base and personality. I would book her again in a heartbeat!
My clients wrote this.Sabine was extremely knowledgeable both in the historical and religious aspect of Notre Dame. She very much catered to our interests and did not go overboard like many guides have done..she spoke on our level and did not ramble on just to hear herself!!! We thought she was perfect and would definitely recommend her to any of our friends looking for a tour of Notre Dame.
We enjoyed our private tour of Notre Dame Cathedral with Sabine Leung. She was quite knowledgeable about the history and significance of the architecture, art and history of this magnificent building, and enthusiastic about sharing that knowledge. We learned a lot!
My girlfriend and I booked a tour with Sabine of Notre-Dame. Sabine shined as a guide as much as the renovated and restored Cathedral. She is a superb guide that we would highly recommend. She did a great job of gathering our goals for the tour and getting to know us to tailor the experience. She is witty, intelligent and has an impressive knowledge of Notre-Dame's history, French history, religious context and cultural significance. We learned so much from the tour but were not overwhelmed. We highly recommend using Sabine for your tour of Notre-Dame.
