Bonjour and welcome to Paris My name is Pascal. I am a passionate and Licensed National Tour Guide. I am a native Parisian born and raised in the district of Montmartre, the most charming neighborhood. With approximately two decades of experience in the tourism industry and over a dozen years guiding tours. I see my role as a messenger, helping visitors see and understand what a work of art has to say. I initially started my professional career as a photographer before becoming a Tour Guide in Paris. My work as a photographer led to several exhibitions across Paris, and the opportunity to explore the globe. My background as an artist photographer became an additional skill to my visits, often pausing to focus on the details of the painting, discussing the artist's strokes, and exploring their visual techniques, as if stepping into the shoes of the painter in front of his canvas. I conduct a variety of tours, including visits to the Louvre and Orsay museums, the majestic Versailles, and various city tours and walking tours throughout Paris. My personal favorite is the walking tour of Montmartre. Join me for an unconventional exploration of Montmartre through the small streets, beginning at the iconic Moulin Rouge and tracing the paths of the impressionist masters and a stop at a local bakery where I'll share tips on selecting the finest croissants and baguettes. I will be delighted to impart with you my knowledge of art history and the storied past of Paris, the City of Light I'm always open to your ideas and suggestions to tailor and customize your tour. National Tourist Guide License issued by the French Ministry of Culture and Tourism Photographer Degree - EFET Photography School - Paris Over a decade of experience as a Tour Guide I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

The history of the hill of Montmartre begins in Roman times, where there was a temple dedicated to Mars, God of War in Roman mythology, when France was called Gaul at the time and was part of the Roman Empire from 52 BC to 476 AC. This district is considered by Parisians to be a charming and picturesque village, and it was at the heart of the Impressionist effervescence. Montmartre was incorporated to the city only in 1860, which makes stand out with its unique, vineyards, windmills, and tiny streets full of secrets. Join me for an unconventional exploration of Montmartre, where we'll wander these quaint streets en route to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, witnessing the iconic Moulin Rouge and tracing the paths of the impressionist masters like Monet, Renoir, Degas, Pissarro and also Van Gogh and Picasso. This is a unique experience that you will live with someone who actually grew up in this neighbourhood. My goal at the end of this tour is to see a little glimmer of happiness in your eyes.
·The beginning of our walking tour will be in the The Moulin Rouge, where we'll gather and discuss the frenetic atmosphere of the Belle Époque and the paintings of Toulouse Lautrec. -We'll then walk along Rue Lepic, a typical Parisian street with amazing bakeries. -We'll continue through Rue des Abbesses, Montmartre's main street, it's an ideal place to stop for an espresso on the terrace. -Then it's on to the Moulin de la Galette, a legendary place in the neighbourhood with an old windmill. -Next, we'll reach Bateau Lavoir, legendary artists' residence: Gauguin, Matisse and Picasso lived there. -What follows will be the Place de Tertre, an artists' square where still today there's painters selling their works. -We will end our tour at the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, where we'll have time to properly visit it and enjoy the breathtaking view of the city. -Finally I could either take you to the nearest metro or if you want to stay in the area a bit longer, I could point out to where to find a good restaurant.
