Bonjour and welcome to Paris My name is Pascal. I am a passionate and Licensed National Tour Guide. I am a native Parisian born and raised in the district of Montmartre, the most charming neighborhood. With approximately two decades of experience in the tourism industry and over a dozen years guiding tours. I see my role as a messenger, helping visitors see and understand what a work of art has to say. I initially started my professional career as a photographer before becoming a Tour Guide in Paris. My work as a photographer led to several exhibitions across Paris, and the opportunity to explore the globe. My background as an artist photographer became an additional skill to my visits, often pausing to focus on the details of the painting, discussing the artist's strokes, and exploring their visual techniques, as if stepping into the shoes of the painter in front of his canvas. I conduct a variety of tours, including visits to the Louvre and Orsay museums, the majestic Versailles, and various city tours and walking tours throughout Paris. My personal favorite is the walking tour of Montmartre. Join me for an unconventional exploration of Montmartre through the small streets, beginning at the iconic Moulin Rouge and tracing the paths of the impressionist masters and a stop at a local bakery where I'll share tips on selecting the finest croissants and baguettes. I will be delighted to impart with you my knowledge of art history and the storied past of Paris, the City of Light I'm always open to your ideas and suggestions to tailor and customize your tour. National Tourist Guide License issued by the French Ministry of Culture and Tourism Photographer Degree - EFET Photography School - Paris Over a decade of experience as a Tour Guide I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Join me for a captivating exploration of the Musée d'Orsay, where we will uncover the artistic revolutions that marked the 19th century. During this breathtaking visit you'll discover the highlights and the masterpieces of the museum. I'll lead you covering a plethora of different styles, from Classicism & Neoclassicism to Orientalism & Realism. We'll of course dive into Impressionism, covering some of its largest contributors: Monet, whose play of light and color captures fleeting moments, and Manet, a forerunner of the movement with his modern life scenes. We'll also be swept away by the whirlwind of Post-Impressionism, where Van Gogh expresses his inner turmoil through passionate brushstrokes. In addition, while not as globally known, you'll sure be dazzled by Seurat's Pointillism, a revolutionary technique where small dots of pure color create vibrant images. Come discover these unforgettable artistic treasures with me!
·The Rhinoceros statue in front of the Orsay Museum will be our meeting point and also the beginning of your tour. ·Once we've gathered, I'll proceed to unpack the history of Orsay, going back to when it was a train station in 1900. ·We'll then step into the museum and start discussing Classicism and its meticulous painting techniques (Bouguereau). ·We'll then dive into the Realism of Courbet, who challenged conventions by depicting society's raw truth. ·What follows will be the work of Impressionists Manet, Monet & Renoir. ·Right after that, we'll dive into Post-impressionism, focusing on Cézanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh. ·Next, we'll discuss Signac and Seurat's Pointillism. ·At last, we'll reach the Gate of Hell (Rodin). ·We will end our tour at the exit of the museum, after which I will take you back to the nearest metro. Alternatively, if you'd like to stay in the area, I could point you to a lovely restaurant for example.
