Overview of your Paris tour
During this tour, we will first discover among a huge collection, some of the worldwide most famous paintings and sculptures as the Mona Lisa, the Coronation of Napoleon, the Liberty leading the People, the Victory of Samothrace, the Venus of Milo, and many more! And even if the Louvre is the biggest museum of the world, it was not big enough to hold the XIX century new art : so they transformed a train station in front, in one of my favorite place of the world... Orsay museum! Literally, the continuation of the Louvre that shows the evolution of art between the 1850's until WWI. So, let's explore the Impressionist revolution, and the Paris of the Belle Epoque, … A travel in time with Monet, Cézanne, Rodin, Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas and many more! A travel in time of History through the eyes of an official licensed Art Historian :)
Your Paris tour itinerary
- We'll start our day at the Musée du Louvre : I'll guide you through the highlights, including the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the greek collection, (etc...) - A quick lunch break in a nearby café is possible - We'll continue our adventure at the Musée d'Orsay. ( The Museum is just 15-min walk from the Louvre) We'll explore the galleries, the works of Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Degas, and more. (Important note: * This tour involves quite a bit of walking and stairs, so unfortunately it is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users, especially as elevators may occasionally be out of service) * During the high season (May to September), availability can be limited...Please contact me before booking so I can check ticket availability for your preferred date)
