Hello everyone, I am Caroline and I am a French tour guide from Paris! I have a passion for history and the city of Paris, that is why I decided to be a tour guide in 2010 after having my license. During this tour, I will speak about Rose Bertin who the dress maker of Marie-Antoinette. The queen was a fashion addict and she became a model for many aristocrats in Europe. You will hear the story of the english designer Charles-Frederick Worth who is considered as the father of Haute Couture in the middle of the XIXe century. On the beautiful place Vendôme, you will see the Ritz hôtel where Coco Chanel had a suite. Then I will speak about Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and the New Look. Let's speak again about Gabrielle Chanel who reopened her maison de couture in 1954 when she was 71 years old. And we will finish our tour at the Hermès store. During this tour I will speak only about the french designers.
