Thirty years ago , when I worked weekends to save up money for my university education fees , one of my passengers mentioned that I was contagiously enthusiastic giving my tours. I realized I had discovered my life's passion. Since then, I learnt a lot and enhanced my way of giving tours, tailored to the unique needs and requirements of my guests. After entering through the oldest part of the building , the medieval fortress moats, we will pass the Egyptian wing to look at the 4000 years old Sphinx , then stop at the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory in the Greek department, before arriving to the Leonardo Da Vincis, Raphaels , and Caravaggios on the first floor. A quick peak at famous XIXth century french paintings, before ending at Michelangelo's Slaves. Lots of other masterpieces along the way depending on the day and on the time we can afford. Architecture won't be forgotten: we will certainly cross along our way the stunning Salle des Caryatides , the apartment of Ann of Austria, and the unique roof of the newest wing of the Louvre, the Department of Islamic Art.
