I have been living and working in Paris for 15+ years. I love my city and love sharing its vibrant art scene with my guests. Originally, I studied Art and Philosophy at Concordia University, Montreal and received a Master 2 / Diplôme des Beaux-Arts de l'ESADHaR, Le Havre, France. As well as being a tour guide, I am a practicing artist. I spent the first years of my life in Paris, going to the museum every weekend to sketch the sculptures and paintings. I have over 15 years of experience working in the arts with artists and galleries, as an artist and curator. I started out running an artist-run center and love making the experience of interacting with art accessible and fun. As a member of the art community, I am more than excited to share with you an insider's view of the vibrant Paris art scene. Let me show you how this city continues to inspire me every day. I also write articles sometimes. The galleries on the left bank have a lot to offer to art lovers and admirers of decorative art. This area is also known for its famous cafés and numerous bookshops. Today it is blessed with a high-end cultural environment and picturesque streets. Beaux-Arts area is a quieter part of town with a rich history just below the seine. It is home to the 350-year-old school of fine arts - École des Beaux-Arts. Historically the neighborhood gave refuge to a number of Paris' cultural past including Eugène Delacroix and Oscar Wilde. In the 1940s it was the center of the existentialist movement. Each corner of this area has a story and history and I look forward to sharing this with you. Take a walk with me, your local guide and art insider, and visit selection galleries in this area, while learning about several key historical locations including the school, its key hotel, and cafés. After we can visit the famous and oldest cafe; Cafe Flore as a flaneur and enjoy an apéro.
The Galleries will vary depending on the gallery schedule and current exhibitions. Let me know what you like and I can tailor the visit to your taste! - A visit to six contemporary galleries - Visit to the historical Beaux-Arts École - A recap over a beverage
