Day trip to Versailles & Giverny

During this day trip, you'll have the privilege of visiting two major sites of the western outskirt of Paris with the comment of an experimented tour guide and historian/ In the morning : the chateau de Versailles, the main seat of the french monarchy : Appartements of the kings / Marble courtyard / Hall of Mirors / Appartements of the queens The gardens of Versailles In the afternoon : Claude Monet's house and gardens in Giverny (a small florished village). We will discover his country house nearby a little river and the privacy of this master of painting : its salon, studio, bedroom , kitchen, impressionist and japonese art collection. We will talk of his paintings, his family, of the impressionnist trend and its major painters ( Renoir, Degas, Caillebotte, Morisot, Cézanne, Pissaro, Sisley . . . ) An enjoyable day in the heart of the french spirit . . .
