Private Paris Guide | 15+ Years Experience | Licensed | Featured by ToursByLocals I’m Gabriela—your guide in Paris for over 15 years. Many of my guests say touring with me feels like exploring the city with a friend. And that’s true—but it’s only part of the story. I’m also a licensed professional guide, trained to guide in Paris with precision, depth, and a strong sense of timing. Whether you’re here for the first time or returning, I make sure your experience actually fits you—not a standard route. ✷ STYLE AND PERSONALITY I’m clear, engaging, easy to follow—and, I hope, fun! My American guests often mention how much they enjoy my accent and clarity. I spent two years in the United States during high school, which shaped my communication style. I know when to bring energy, when to go deeper, and when to simply let you take it all in. The experience flows naturally, no tour is ever scripted. ✷ WHAT SETS ME APART What truly sets me apart is not just what I know—it’s how I guide. Some tours are purely informative, others are more fun than anything else. I make sure you get both, judging the balance between the two. You’ll understand what you’re seeing, but you’ll also enjoy the moment—because a great tour should never feel like a lecture. ✷ A BIT ABOUT ME I studied cinema and art history at the Sorbonne University, and I’ve split my career between guiding (with ToursByLocals since 2010) and working in contemporary art. If you visit museums or galleries with me, you’ll experience them differently: with context, clarity, and perspective that bring everything to life. Art, history, philosophy, and especially sociology are not just interests—they’re part of how I perceive my city. This background allows me to go beyond explanations—offering insight, context, and a more nuanced understanding of what you’re seeing. ✷ CREDENTIALS Licensed Paris tour guide (fully authorised to guide inside museums and historic sites) BA and MA in Film and Art studies from Sorbonne's School of the arts Member of the International Association of Art Critics Member of the French Art Curator Association. 15+ years of professional guiding experience Selected by ToursByLocals for their video series 👉 Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBQZvDgbQmk ✷ WHAT MY TOURS FEEL LIKE My goal is simple: to give you a version of Paris that feels effortless, interesting, and genuinely enjoyable. This is the opposite of a generic, one-size-fits-all tour. Each experience is well-paced, instinctively structured, and continually adjusted so everything makes sense — to you, whether we spend a few hours or a full week together. That’s why many of my guests tell me: “This didn’t feel like a tour—it felt like it was made for us.” Paris has many knowledgeable guides, and thankfully so! What I offer is a different kind of experience—one that combines years of expertise with a real sense and appreciation for people. A happy visitor to my beloved city is my highest form of reward. See you in Paris!

Paris is one of the most filmed cities in the world — and on this tour, we will step directly into the scenes. What is more romantic than strolling down the exact streets you have seen in a movie? Together, we will experience the city like a film — walking, observing, letting the atmosphere unfold. From Midnight in Paris, Amélie, and Breathless to The Da Vinci Code, John Wick, Inception, and many more: we visit real filming locations and bring them back to life. At each stop, I will show you exactly where scenes were filmed — a bridge, a staircase, a café, a quiet street that suddenly becomes iconic once you know what happened there. As a film major at the Sorbonne, I will also share insights into how these films were made, why directors chose these locations, and how Paris became not just a setting, but a character. This is a fully customisable tour. Tell me your favorite films, and I’ll design your itinerary — or let me surprise you.
As with all my tours, this is not a fixed itinerary. Before we meet, choose your favorites from the following films and I will build an itinerary around: Midnight in Paris, The Da Vinci Code, Inception, John Wick, Julie & Julia, Emily in Paris, Funny Face, Before Sunset, Everyone Says I Love You, Sex and the City, A View to a Kill, Amélie, Breathless, Last Tango in Paris, The Dreamers, Nikita, Frantic, Les Amants du Pont-Neuf, Paris je t’aime, The Last Metro. If you have another movie in mind, let me know. During the tour, we will move through different neighbourhoods and discover Paris through the lens of film. We might stand at the bottom of a staircase — and I will show you how it became a dramatic scene in John Wick. A few streets later, we pass a small café — the very one from Amélie. Crossing a bridge, I might ask: do you remember this view? This is where Midnight in Paris comes to life. Each stop connects a real place to a cinematic memory. We will walk, talk, and let the films guide us.
