Chateau de Versailles and Giverny Monet garden - Full-Day Tour

Out of the busy city of Paris, we will drive through the picturesque landscape of Normandy to Monet's house. The water garden he created there was the source for his series water-lilies painting series. We can walk through the lush gardens, breathe in the fragrant air and be transported to the world of peace and serenity of Claude Monet. In the afternoon, we will explore the splendid palace of Versailles. Chateau de Versailles is one of the most beautiful palace in the world, a model for many European palaces. You will be impressed by the opulent architecture, the lavish interior decor and the sumptuous garden. Pick up in your hotel in Paris city. The drive to Giverny is about 1h30. Skip-the-line entrance to Claude Monet's last residence. Visit the house and the gardens. Stop by the tomb of Monet in the cemetery. Lunch in the area or the way to Versailles. Skip-the-line entrance to Chateau de Versailles. A short walk in the garden. Head back to your hotel in Paris. The order of the visits may be modified. Option : It is possible to combine the Giverny visit with Auvers-sur-Oises instead of going to Versailles. Auvers-sur-oise is the town where Van Gogh lived his last two months of life. We will walk through places that Van Gogh had painted including doctor Gachat's house, the Church of Auvers-sur-Oises , the wheat field. . . We will also see Van Gogh and his brother's tombs.
