My name is José and I'm an officially licensed tour guide/lecturer in Paris and France. I arrived in Paris in December 1982, and I fall in love with the city and this country that became mine. I have witnessed many significant changes in Paris over the course of my lifetime! Being able to assist in the construction of iconic structures such as the Louvre Pyramid, Opera Bastille, and Arc de la Defense has been a unique and exciting experience. In 1989 I went to École de Photographie - EFET (Photographie school) now a days, it helps me to provide to my customers the best places, for pictures, angles, etc of this museum city. For me Paris is like "Living in an open air museum" I live in the the 10th district and I will be pleased to take around, and tell you stories about this over 2000 years old city and country. As a driver guide, I'm able to offer a unique perspective on Paris(Normandy, and Champagne regions as well) and its surroundings, my ability to adapt to the needs and desires of small groups can make a more personalized and enjoyable tour experience. My enthusiasm for Cooking and music (been a Musician myself) will provide you information about the best places for food, and music according to your needs. My experience 20 years experience guiding in different ways : driving, walking, and biking, will offer you different options. I also offer tours departing from (and to) Paris surrounding regions, including Versailles, Giverny, and the Champagne region ! These destinations are all popular with visitors to Paris and offer a unique perspective on French history, culture, and cuisine. The Palace of Versailles is one of France's most iconic landmarks, and a tour of the palace and its gardens can provide a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of French royalty. Giverny, the home of the famous impressionist painter Claude Monet, is also a popular destination for art lovers and garden enthusiasts. The Champagne region, with its rolling hills and vineyards, is known for producing some of the world's finest sparkling wines. A tour of the region can include visits to renowned champagne houses like Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot, Pommery as well as smaller, family-run wineries. I have a passion for traveling and I have been able to visit many different parts of the world ! (US, Canada, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia, Africa : Israel-Morocco-Tunisia- Europe : Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium) Do not hesitate to contact me if you want to share my passion to show Paris and France. - Official licensed / certified guide for France (Issued by the ministry of culture and tourism) - Official professional /driver licensed (VTC voiture de tourisme avec chauffeur) Issued by the ministry of transport None.
