Hello there! My name is Anne. Born and bred in Burgundy, I moved to Paris to attend university and never left again! I settled "Rive Gauche" (Left Bank of the Seine river) 25 years ago and after a career as a financial analyst for large international companies, I resumed my studies in History of Art at Paris' famous Ecole du Louvre. After graduating in 2014, I decided to become a private tour guide to share with international visitors my passion for Parisian culture, art and history. Just like Paris welcomed me all these years ago, I will welcome you to Paris as I know it: the City of Light but so much more indeed! Whether you're a first-timer or a regular visitor, I will take you off the beaten tracks and unveil the secrets of Paris' major and lesser-known landmarks. Together, we will stroll the streets just like a group of friends and I will be your very own guide as my tours are exclusively private. Each tour will be tailor-made to match your personal interests, at your own pace and with time to stand and stare. Just tell me what your idea of a dream trip is and I will make it happen! I offer half-day and full day tours which consist of cultural visits, relaxing walks and gourmet breaks in trendy places. In addition to the numerous must-sees, I will introduce you to my favorite hidden spots and we will wander Paris' secret nooks and crannies. Your tour will start and end wherever you fancy: your hotel, a café… Just let me know and I will be there! We will get around by foot and public transports as they are ideal for discovering Paris without getting stuck in traffic jams! *** IMPORTANT NOTICE: please make sure you double-check my availability calendar before sending me a request for tours less than 2 months away. If I am down as unavailable, my calendar will already be set which means I will not be able to offer you a tour. Overview of your Paris tour
Welcome to the village of Montmartre, my second home, and join me for an exploration of Paris' most picturesque neighborhood! Cobblestone streets, crooked lanes, famous vineyards, hidden gardens, legendary cabarets, historic restaurants and "guinguettes". . . All these places were immortalized by many iconic artists: Van Gogh, Renoir and Picasso to name a few. And let's not forget the bustling Place du Tertre, with its famous painters, and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, with its breathtaking view over the rooftops! Should you fancy a gourmet break, I'll take you to one of the best bakeries in town, which won the contest of the best baguette twice! Just a few steps from there, I'll also share with you one of my favorite pastry shops: their chocolate eclairs are to-die-for!
