Papallacta Hot Springs and Spa - Day trip from Quito

Las Termas de Papallacta is located 75 minutes from Quito at 3200m. a. s. l, traveling along the route to the jungle we are going to see the change in the landscape and climatic zones; from the warm valley, we will enter the cool Paramo. If the sky is clear, you will see the snowed peak Antisana Volcano. The famous thermal pools waters coming straight from Cayambe and Antisana volcanic fissures. Local people believe that these water have healing properties and alleviate illnesses such as arthritis, digestive problems or bad circulation.

I will pick you up from your hotel We will be driving for one hour and a half to the east of Quito. We will see Lake Papallacta, and on a clear day, we could see in the distance the impressive snow-capped Antisana volcano. Then, we can go to walk on the path along of the river. Later, You can go to the hot springs or the Spa to relax and have a fun time in the mineral water. After the swimming pool, you could enjoy a delicious typical Ecuadorian food. Back to Quito
