Baños is a popular tourist destination in Ecuador due to its natural environment and its adventure sports. Locals and visitors alike undertake rafting, kayaking, canyoning, bridge jumping, hiking, biking and horseback riding. Baños is also known for its production of taffy (Spanish: melcocha [melˈkotʃa]) made from cane sugar, and for small shops that sell the town's famous wooden parrots made of balsa tree.

Juan Pablo is the best guide! He went above and beyond. This morning the weather was rainy and he rearranged things so our grandson was able to do everything planned! He took us to the waterfalls, he walked down with our grandson so Weston could go under the falls. He stopped so our grandson could zip line over the river and see three waterfalls. We went to the house of the tree to swing to the end of the world. Weston wanted to taste guinea pig, Juan Pablo took us to a mercado that does the guinea pig, but not today. Juan Pablo feels like family! We 1000% recommend him!

The tour was simply amazing. Juan Pablo took into account all our preferences and changes to the route, guided us through all the timings and details. We had a wonderful day in Baños and the surrounding areas, and even managed to visit a viewpoint at the edge of the jungle. He also gave great recommendations for lunch and coffee spots. We had several different guides in Ecuador, but Juan was probably the best. We had an excellent time and highly recommend any tour with Juan – you won’t regret it!

The two of us had a great day traveling with Juan Pablo from Quito to Banos. He arrived on time, drove safely, and was knowledgeable and easy going. We were fortunate to have a warm, sunny day with light traffic. He was flexible regarding where we went and how long we spent at each location. If you have time, I'd suggest making this a two day trip since the drive is long. Juan Pablo also took some great photos and videos with my phone to preserve some special memories.

Your Quito tour itinerary
After picking up we will take the "Avenue of the Volcanoes", to the south on the way we can see some volcanoes such as Pasochoa, Los Ilinizas, Rumiñahui, Cotopaxi. We continue our tour to Baños de Agua Santa where we will visit the Tree House and its Swing of the End of the World, then we will go to the waterfalls, we will make several stops to explore the waterfalls of the area, first we will visit the Agoyán Waterfall, we will continue to the waterfall Manto de la Novia where we will cross a canyon in tarabita. Later we will go to Río Verde, where is the Pailón del Diablo, one of the largest waterfalls in Ecuador. Walk to the Pailón del Diablo waterfall. Lunch and City tour in Baños. Start return to Quito.
